A series of unfortunate events ꘡Comedy-drama series. This series follows the tragic tale of three orphans -- Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire -- who are investigating their parents' mysterious death. The siblings are saddled with an evil guardian named Count Olaf (portrayed by Emmy-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris), who will do whatever it takes to get his hands on the Baudelaires' inheritance. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling devious plans and disguises. The series is based on the best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler)

Cobie Smulders and Neil Patrick Harris previously played Robin and Barney Stinson on "How I Met Your Mother" As a huge fan Barney i would definitely getting excited when knowing that Neil Patrict role in this series. His character in this series reminds me of Jim Carrey who crazy funny. This Series consists of 4 Seasons and it is hilarious! I will consider it as dark comedy because of some part of the story line consist of some explainable scene and seems not suitable for younger audience.

It is just dark enough and funny enough to be both suspenseful and wildly entertaining Although some scenes beyond your imagination. The most important message that they want to deliver is to stay put together with your family and have faith in them. Remember that blood is thicker than water.

I admire the determination that being shown by Olaf never give up. He tries so many different methods to tricks the Baudelaires. That makes me realize that we only see what we want to see but not the truth. Like one of the scenes when Olaf acting as somebody else and everyone believes it because people only believe what they see not the truth behind it. That is my POV regarding the hidden message that the director wants to spread to all. It could be wrong, but it also could be right because as usual we have a different point of views, and it always subjective.

If you ask me who is my favourite character in this movie, that title goes to Count Olaf. At first, he kinda annoying but towards the end when you understood the motive, and the kindness in his heart, you will give him a chance. Remember that there is always a backstory to how people behave nowadays.
