ONE THING Toner- Review ꘡I'm a skincare fan. It all started when I had hormonal acne in December 2020. Having zits will effecting your confidence level. I would not want that. To prevent my acne from getting worse, I have been researching about acne, knowing ingredients in my skincare to heal my skin. Recently one K-Beauty brand in the market has caught my attention which is ONE THING.

They are few ways how to use this product.

METHOD 1: Exclusive Usage As the first step of skincare, apply the extract to the cotton pad and moisture your skin or Put it in the mist container and spray them from time to time

METHOD 2: Compound Usage: Use your DIY cosmetics

1. Combine 5-10% or more into used cosmetics (Skin, Lotion, Cream, etc).

2. Combine two or more extracts (Example: Injin mugwort Extract 80% + Centella Extract 20%)

METHOD 3: Utilize as a Pack Apply A large amount of extract to the cotton pad and put them on like a pack, on the part that needs intensive care (Forehead, Cheeks, Chin, etc) for 5-10 minutes

Usually, I would transfer the toner into a small spray bottle, then put it in the fridge. Whenever I need it, I will spray it on my face. You can feel the cooling sensation on your face. What I like about this product is the size of it. This large bottle (300ml) comes with a twistable cap that makes it easy to control the liquid.

Texture

The colour of this toner is dark brown and a bit watery as you can see at picture above, but once it touches the skin, it provides a decent amount of hydration for my skin. I have a combination oily skin. Surprisingly it doesn't dry the skin out.

Scent

It got a strong smell, like a green tea or tea leaves. Even though it has a strong smell but when you put it on your palm, the smells won't long lasting. I know some of you might want to reconsider about the smells but for me, I love it!

Extracted from Gangwha-do Artemisia caillaris that will leave healthy skin and give a soothing effect. Perhaps not many of you that familiar with the name of Artemisia. Artemisia is also known as Mugwort. A well-known product that is good in fighting the inflammation of the skin. With the natural ingredients only and without any paraben and Phenoxyethanol added, the product maintains firm and glowing skin by controlling the overall balance and providing moisturization and nutrition.

Texture

Similar to the Houttuynia Cordota extract, this toner consists of a brownish colour and feels a bit watery, but if I use it too much feels like it drying my skin. So I am always careful when using this toner, I Don't want my skin to become dry then it will be flaky everywhere.

Scent

If you have experience in using mugwort in your skincare routine, I'm pretty sure you are aware of the scent. Mugwort has a more pungent-earthy smell as compared to many ingredients out there. Since this toner is 100% vegan then the smell is a bit strong but I don't have a problem with it, if you are not a fan of it, you might need to reconsider back. However, once the toner sinks into your skin you won't be smelling it. You may give it try.

Overall

I have been using it for almost 3 weeks now and my skin doesn't show any irritation to it. Sometimes I will dip the facial cotton and leave it to the red spot of my skin for around 3 minutes to get rid of redness in the fastest way. Normally I will use Houttuynia Cordota in the morning and Artemisia in the night. I feel it works more effectively if I do it like that. I will wake up with plump skin and no more redness on my face. My face easily gets irritated so I guess It does all the magic to my face and I'm pretty much like it.

This was an altogether fun read!!!

Our protagonist is Kyle Keeley the younger brother to overachieving Curtis and sports star,Mike. After lost in their limelight, Kyle finally get a chance to shine as he takes part in the library escape. I won't tell anymore about the game and the characters, but I will say, I love the main idea in this book. The fortify of the idea that reading is a rewarding activity and it clearly stated that those who do not cheat, honest will be rewarded than the one who take short cuts.

Reading this book it's like you reading Charlie and the Chocolate factory just without the creepy oompa-loompa's and it takes place in an awesome library. The puzzles and mysteries were fantastically well-placed. I'm amused by how clever the way Dewey Decimal Classification system was used in this book.

Wonderful, imaginative and creative story line which reminded me why I still love to read children's book.
